Job Summary and Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN / Per Diem / As Needed

The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for directing modifying and administering the physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff physical therapist. Administers treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff physical therapist, after the physical therapist has determined, following evaluation of the patient, the patient’s needs, goals and plan of care. The physical therapist assistant will delegate responsibilities and supervise supportive personnel, to assist in administrative tasks, and to participate in educational and orientation programs.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA)
• Associate Degree
